03:41 PM EST, 11/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Williams (WMB) said Friday its Northeast Supply Enhancement project has received permits from New York and New Jersey.

The energy company said it secured clean water quality permits from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for the natural gas pipeline project that aims to enhance energy reliability in New York City.

The project involves expanding access to natural gas infrastructure and displacing fuel oil delivered into the city by diesel trucks, it added.

Shares were up over 3% in recent trading.
