Willis Lease Finance Unit Launching $596 Million Offering of Fixed Rate Notes

10:05 AM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Willis Lease Finance ( WLFC ) said Tuesday its subsidiary Willis Engine Structured Trust VIII is planning to offer $524 million of Series A fixed rate notes and $72 million of Series B fixed rate notes.

The notes will be secured by assets including the subsidiary's interests in a portfolio of 62 aircraft engines and two airframes, which the subsidiary will buy from Willis Lease Finance ( WLFC ) or other subsidiaries, the company said.

Net proceeds will be used to pay fees and expenses related to the offering, deposit initial amounts in reserve accounts for security deposits, as well as maintenance and other expenses, among other things, the company said.
