Willis Towers Watson Agrees to Sell Tranzact to GTCR and Recognize for $632.4 Million

09:46 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Willis Towers Watson ( WTW ) said Tuesday that it has agreed to sell its Tranzact direct-to-consumer insurance distribution business to private equity firm GTCR and technology services investment platform Recognize for $632.4 million.

The company said it expects the deal to close by the end of the year, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
