Willis Towers Watson, Guidewire Software Collaborate to Improve Insurance Underwriting, Pricing

10:33 AM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Willis Towers Watson ( WTW ) said Wednesday it is collaborating with Guidewire Software ( GWRE ) to accelerate cloud platform integration, enabling insurance carriers to improve pricing, rating and underwriting efficiency.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

This partnership is expected to introduce a "Ready for Guidewire" accelerator connecting Willis Towers Watson's ( WTW ) Radar analytics software with Guidewire PolicyCenter, the company said.

Guidewire Software ( GWRE ) shares jumped 17% in recent trading Wednesday. Analysts including Stifel and Wells Fargo boosted their price targets on the stock, a day after the company reported fiscal Q3 earnings and revenue that topped estimates by analysts and raised its full-year revenue guidance.

Willis Towers Watson ( WTW ) shares fell 0.9%.
