Winpak Reports Higher Third-Quarter Profit and Revenue

12:52 PM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Winpak ( WIPKF ) on Thursday reported higher profit and revenue for the third quarter.

The packaging and packaging-equipment company said net income increased 13% to US$38.5 million, or US$0.61 per share, from US$34 million, or $0.52, last year. The growth in sales volumes raised earnings by US$1.7 million

Revenue rose 4.3% to US$285.5 million.

Winpak ( WIPKF ) is projecting sales volume growth in the range of 5% to 7% for the fourth quarter, and 4% to 6% for 2025.

The company's shares were last see up $0.735 to $46.825 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
