Wintrust Financial Q3 Earnings Decline, Revenue Rises

05:49 PM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wintrust Financial ( WTFC ) reported Q3 earnings late Monday of $2.47 per diluted share, down from $2.53 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.48.

Net revenue for the quarter that ended Sept. 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and noninterest income, was $615.7 million, up from $574.8 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $624.9 million.

Shares of Wintrust Financial ( WTFC ) were up 1.6% in after-hours trading.

The Supreme Court Tuesday deferred to November 5 the hearing on a batch of pleas relating to charging of interest on interest by banks on EMIs which were not paid by the borrowers who availed of the RBI loan moratorium scheme in view of the COVID19 pandemic.
