WiSA Technologies to Acquire CompuSystems

08:49 AM EST, 12/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WiSA Technologies ( WISA ) said Thursday it has agreed to acquire CompuSystems, a provider of data analytics and technical services for live events.

Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close around Jan. 31 next year, the company said.

WiSA ( WISA ) said CompuSystems' management expects the company to contribute $13 million to $15 million in 2025 revenue.

WiSA ( WISA ) also said it expects to close its acquisition of the intellectual property and IT assets of Data Vault Holdings and change its name to Datavault on Dec. 31.

WiSA ( WISA ) Chief Executive Brett Moyer said the newest acquisition will combine CompuSystems' experience in the events management business with the capabilities of Datavault's platform.

Shares of WiSA ( WISA ) were up about 3% in recent premarket activity.
