05:27 AM EDT, 04/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WM Technology ( MAPS ) said Tuesday it received a notice of delinquency from Nasdaq's Listing Qualifications Department on April 2 for failing to file its annual report with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the year ended Dec. 31.

The cannabis industry tech platform said the delay is due to a recent change in the company's executive finance leadership, which slowed the preparation of the financial statements to be included in the annual report.

The company has 60 calendar days, or until June 3, to explain to Nasdaq how it intends to come back into compliance or submit its report. The company said it will complete and file its annual report as soon as practicable.

Shares of the company were down more than 2% in Tuesday's after-hours activity.
