"There is a noticeable 3-5% growth in footfalls, accompanied by an upward trend in the ARPU up to 10-12%. This performance is clearly surpassing that of the previous year," he said.

With Christmas and New Year's coming up, he expects good growth for the rest of the year.

Chittilappilly also talked about the company's much-anticipated Odisha project. He said the Odisha amusement park is scheduled to open its doors to the public in September 2024 and the Chennai park will follow in September 2025.

The company is also in talks with the governments of Madhya Pradesh (MP), Uttar Pradesh (UP), Gujarat, Goa etc. One of these is also expected to come through in the next quarter or so.

He highlighted that the upcoming Chennai park is poised to be their largest venture to date.

Wonderla, the largest chain of amusement parks in India, has a market capitalisation of ₹5,259 crore. Owned and operated by Wonderla Holidays, the company is headquartered near Bidadi near Bengaluru, Karnataka.
