06:56 AM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Woodward (WWD) said Wednesday that it has completed the transformation of its aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul facility in Loves Park, Illinois.
The $55 million project aimed to transform the facility to meet rising demand for aircraft fleet fuel controls aftermarket services, the company said.
The site has over 165,000 square feet of modern space for manufacturing, assembly, testing and aftermarket services, Woodward said.
The facility currently employs 1,100 people and could create up to 100 new jobs over the next five to seven years, the company said.
