09:35 AM EDT, 10/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- World Kinect ( WKC ) said Thursday it promoted Ira Birns to serve as chief executive officer and also appointed him as a board member, effective Jan. 1.

Birns has served as president and CFO and succeeds Michael Kasbar, who will transition to the role of executive chairman, the company said.

World Kinect ( WKC ) also said it promoted Mike Tejada to the role of chief financial officer, effective immediately after the filing of its quarterly report for the period ending Sept. 30.

Tejada has served as chief accounting officer for World Kinect ( WKC ), the company said.

Chief operating officer John Rau was also promoted to serve as the company's new president, World Kinect ( WKC ) said.
