WPP Shares Fall After Lower Q1 Revenue

10:38 AM EDT, 04/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WPP ( WPP ) shares were down by more than 1% in recent Thursday trading after the company posted lower Q1 revenue.

The advertising giant reported Q1 revenue of 3.41 billion British pounds ($4.26 billion), down from about 3.50 billion pounds a year earlier. Revenue less pass-through costs was 2.69 billion pounds, down from about 2.8 billion pounds a year ago, the company said

A single analyst polled by Capital IQ expected 2.69 billion pounds.
