07:26 AM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WPP ( WPP ) shares were up by around 4.4% in recent Wednesday premarket activity after the company posted higher Q3 revenue.

The advertising giant reported Q3 revenue of 3.56 billion British pounds ($4.62 billion), up from about 3.51 billion pounds a year earlier.

Revenue less pass-through costs was 2.77 billion pounds, down from about 2.84 billion pounds a year ago, the company said. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 2.74 billion pounds.
