01:47 PM EDT, 03/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wrap Technologies ( WRAP ) promoted Jared Novick to chief operating officer and president.

Novick, through an investment partnership affiliated with him, purchased 275,000 shares of Wrap common stock and accompanying warrants. The investment is the largest by a non-founder, Chief Executive Officer Scot Cohen said Wednesday in a statement.

"Novick will lead Wrap through its recent acquisition of W1 Global, drive operations for managed safety and response, and spearhead the launch of federal business initiatives," according to the statement.

Wrap shares rose 8.7% in recent trading Wednesday.
