10:25 AM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WW International ( WW ) said Friday it has appointed board member Tara Comonte as interim chief executive.

Comonte succeeds Sima Sistani, who is leaving the company and its board, effective Friday, the company said. Comonte joined WW board in June 2023 and most recently served as CEO of TMRW Life Sciences.

The company said it is reaffirming its full-year 2024 guidance on end of period subscribers, revenue, adjusted operating income and adjusted EBITDAS.

Shares of WW International ( WW ) were down more than 3% in recent trading.
