WW International's Q2 Earnings, Revenue Fall; Plans to Reduce Workforce

08:00 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WW International ( WW ) reported Q2 earnings Thursday of $0.29 per diluted share, down from $0.65 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.03.

Net revenue for the quarter ended June 29 was $202.1 million, down from $226.8 million a year ago.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $208.9 million.

The company said it will eliminate certain positions and terminate employment for certain employees worldwide this year as part of a restructuring plan it hopes will result in $100 million of annual run-rate cost savings.

Shares were down 4.7% in recent premarket activity.
