X asks Brazil's top court to allow it to resume services, source says
Sep 26, 2024 9:10 AM

BRASILIA, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Elon Musk-owned social

media platform X has requested that Brazil's Supreme Court allow

it to resume service in the country, a source with direct

knowledge of the matter said on Thursday.

X was shut down in Brazil in late August as it failed to

name a legal representative in the country and to comply with

previous orders from the top court related to hate speech

moderation in the social platform.
