X Reportedly Taps Former Tubi Executive as CFO

03:52 PM EST, 11/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- X, the social media company previously known as Twitter and acquired by Elon Musk in 2022, has hired Mahmoud Reza Banki as its new chief financial officer, according to multiple media reports on Wednesday.

Banki previously held a similar role between 2017 and 2023 at Fox's (FOX) free streaming television platform Tubi and joined X this month, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Banki is the first CFO at X since Musk's purchase, although other executives have helped out with those responsibilities, current and former X employees told The Wall Street Journal.

Tubi and X did not immediately respond to requests from MT Newswires.
