Xcel Energy, Fermata Energy Launch Vehicle-to-Everything Bidirectional Charging Pilot in Colorado

12:10 PM EDT, 05/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Xcel Energy ( XEL ) collaborated with Fermata Energy and others to deploy a vehicle-to-everything bidirectional charging pilot project at Boulder Housing Partners' 30 Pearl development and Molly's Spirits' Lakeside facility in Colorado.

This pilot between Xcel, Fermata, City of Boulder, Boulder Housing Partners and Colorado CarShare, works to convert electric vehicles into mobile charging station, according to a press statement released Monday.

Financial details of the collaboration weren't provided.
