Chinese tech major, Xiaomi is planning to launch a triple rear camera setup smartphone in India, indicates a teaser, which was published on its official forum. The teaser is quite cryptic in nature and shows single, dual and triple camera modules orbiting a planet.

Xiaomi is already offering single and dual camera phones in India. Outside India, the company offers two smartphones with triple rear camera setup – Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE. However, neither of the two phones have the latest generation Snapdragon 700 processor.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi will unveil its upcoming flagship in China. The phone has been teased to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The phone is likely to be announced on May 13, 2019.

Also, Xiaomi recently launched it's Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 smartphones in India. The Redmi Y3 comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio with a layer of 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The Redmi 7 also features a 6.26 inch (15.9cm) HD+ Dot Notch display.
