10:26 AM EST, 11/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- XPeng ( XPEV ) said Friday it introduced the Kunpeng Super Electric System, Turing AI Intelligent Driving System, and XPeng P7+ electric car in China.
The Kunpeng Super Electric System uses an AI-supported silicon carbide platform, which allows for 1 km of range per second of charge and reaches 80% charge in 12 minutes, the company said.
The Turing AI Intelligent Driving System, powered by an in-house AI chip, supports L4 autonomous driving, it added.
XPeng ( XPEV ) also said it plans to launch a Robotaxi with Ultra Model, which uses Turing chips to support L4-level safety and autonomy.
XPeng's ( XPEV ) Aeroht Flying Car, a modular flying vehicle, will make its public flight debut in November, with pre-orders starting in December, the company added.
The company launched an AI Robot Iron, which supports advanced humanoid movement and is being used in XPeng's ( XPEV ) operations, according to XPeng ( XPEV ).
Shares of XPeng ( XPEV ) were down nearly 2% in recent trading.
