09:02 AM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Xtract One Technologies ( XTRAF ) said Monday its Gateway system was selected by Delmar School District in Delaware to secure entrances at its middle and high school.
The system, which is expected to be installed soon, screens students without requiring them to remove backpacks or laptops, the company said.
"Delmar School District's Gateway deployment, along with other recent school awards, represents further momentum with Gateway since its official launch," said chief executive Peter Evans.
"We're seeing increased demand across high-throughput environments with medium volumes of personal belongings, like educational institutions, because Gateway solves a real-world challenge - keeping kids and staff safe without sacrificing their sense of privacy or creating bottlenecks that add stress to daily routines."
Xtract said it is showcasing and testing Gateway at schools nearly every week and remains optimistic about the product's outlook.
Shares of Xtract One Technologies ( XTRAF ) last closed up $0.01 at $0.57 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
