11:32 AM EDT, 06/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Xunlei ( XNET ) said Monday that it has closed the acquisition of Shanghai Kuanghui Network Technology, which operates sports media and data platform Hupu in China.

The company said it has paid 400 million renminbi ($55.5 million) upfront, with the remaining 100 million renminbi to be paid in two equal installments after closing.

Shares of Xunlei ( XNET ) were down over 3% in recent trading.
