12:09 PM EDT, 03/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- YETI (YETI) said Monday it has appointed J. Magnus Welander and Arne Arens to its board of directors, effective March 24, to refresh its board and align director experience with the company's strategy and future growth opportunities.

The appointments of Welander, former chief executive officer of Thule Group, and Arens, former CEO of Boardriders, increased the total number of board members to 10, with nine being independent, the company said.

YETI added it has entered into a cooperation agreement with its stockholder, Engaged Capital, to accelerate growth and improve stockholder value.

Shares of YETI rose 4.3% in recent trading.
