At the Microsoft Future Decoded Summit here in Mumbai, Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella said consumer economy is important but the business model that was most successful was the aggregator market model.

According to him, every industry including retail, agriculture, financial services, and healthcare is embedded with digital technology.

“We describe this world as the era of intelligent cloud and intelligent edge and you are going to see ubiquitous computing fabric that is distributed, you are going to have intelligence that is ambient, you are going to have experiences that are no longer bound to any one single device; you are going to have experiences that span devices, span sense,” he added.

"It comes down to how every organisation in India can drive this change," added Nadella.

Nadella further said that building your own tech capability will be the most defining thing in the next decade.

“For us at Microsoft, an intelligent cloud, an intelligent edge world that is grounded in creating tech intensity is our mission. Our mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more fundamentally comes down to helping each and every one of you to build your own tech intensity,” Nadella further added.

We want to build a tech stack to support the efforts of businesses, said Nadella.
