Dec 19 (Reuters) - Google's YouTube was down
for thousands of users globally on Friday, according to
Downdetector.com.
There were more than 7,600 reports of issues with the
streaming platform as of 08:27 a.m. ET, according to
Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports
from a number of sources.
Outage reports exceeded 1,300 in Canada as of 8:29 a.m. ET;
and more than 3,000 in the UK of 8:30 a.m. ET.
YouTube did not immediately respond to a Reuters request
for comment.
