Dec 19 (Reuters) - Google's YouTube was down

for ‌thousands of users globally on ​Friday, according to

Downdetector.com.

There were ‍more than 7,600 ⁠reports ⁠of issues with the

streaming platform ‌as of ​08:27 a.m. ET, according to

Downdetector, which tracks ⁠outages by ‍collating ​status reports

from a number of sources.

Outage reports exceeded ‍1,300 in Canada as of 8:29 a.m. ET;

and more than 3,000 in the UK ​of ‍8:30 a.m. ET.

YouTube did not immediately respond ​to a Reuters request

for comment.
