07:07 AM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) owned YouTube ( GOOG ) said Thursday its YouTube TV service may drop Disney ( DIS ) channels as soon as Oct. 30 if negotiations fail.
Disney's ( DIS ) proposed terms would raise YouTube TV prices and limit choice while favoring Disney's ( DIS ) live TV offerings, such as Hulu + Live TV and, soon, Fubo, the company said.
If no deal is reached, YouTube ( GOOG ) said it will remove Disney ( DIS ) content and related library recordings, including ABC, ESPN ( DIS ), and Nat Geo, among others.
The company also said that if the issues persist, the company will offer a $20 credit to affected users.
Shares of Alphabet were up over 1.4% in recent Friday premarket activity.
