Yum China Launches AI Assistant for Restaurant Managers

06:06 AM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Yum China Holdings ( YUMC ) said Friday it launched a pilot of a new hands-free artificial intelligence assistant for restaurant managers for tasks such as labor scheduling and inventory management.

The company is piloting the Q-Smart assistant at select KFC stores, with plans for a larger-scale rollout in the future, it said.
