ZenaTech Buys Drone Design Patent From Former Parent Company -- Shares Jump Pre-Bell

09:33 AM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ZenaTech ( ZENA ) shares jumped in recent Thursday premarket trading after the software technology company said its ZenaDrone unit is acquiring a US patent for a design related to the second-generation design used in the ZenaDrone 1000 autonomous drone.

ZenaTech ( ZENA ) said that the patent was purchased from ZenaTech's ( ZENA ) former parent company, and that the patent includes changes from the first-generation design to improve flight times and increase payload capacity.

The patent acquisition is subject to shareholder and regulatory approval, ZenaTech ( ZENA ) said.

Financial details were not provided.

Separately, ZenaTech ( ZENA ) said Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire ZooOffice, the holding company for software firms Jadian and DeskFlex, from ZenaTech's ( ZENA ) former parent company.
