08:17 AM EST, 12/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ZenaTech ( ZENA ) said Thursday it has launched Sky Traffic, a quantum computing project for traffic optimization and weather forecasting using ZenaDrone 1000 drones.

ZenaTech ( ZENA ) said the project developed after the interest from a government client to use ZenaDrone 1000 drones to monitor vehicle traffic.

The project will provide real-time traffic data to the unnamed government agency and to drivers as well as for weather forecasting.

ZenaTech's ( ZENA ) quantum computing team will use Amazon Web Services as its computing platform to manage the project.

ZenaTech ( ZENA ) shares were up over 27% in recent premarket trading.
