Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $1.44.

Total revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $1.21 billion, down from $2.19 billion a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.22 billion.

Zim shares were down more than 4% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
