Zions Bancorporation Q2 EPS Rises, Revenue Decreases -- Shares Up After Hours

04:58 PM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Zions Bancorporation (ZION) reported Q2 earnings late Monday of $1.28 per diluted share, up from $1.11 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.10.

Revenue for the quarter, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, for the quarter ended June 30 was $776 million, down from $780 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $758.8 million.

Zion shares were up more than 4% in after-hours activity.
