12:22 PM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Zoetis ( ZTS ) said Thursday it has formed a partnership with Danone for sustainable breeding practices through genetics in dairy farming.

The collaboration will aim to reduce environmental impact of dairy farming through long-term resilience, Zoetis ( ZTS ) said. The company's genetic testing solutions will help predict if an animal is susceptible to costly diseases and increase its chances to remain healthy and productive over its lifetime.

Zoetis ( ZTS ) shares were up more than 1% in recent trading.
