06:17 AM EDT, 06/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ZoomerMedia ( ZUMRF ) , a multi-platform media company, on Tuesday said it has completed its acquisition of Mobile Syrup from Blue Ant Media for $950,000 in cash.

Mobile Syrup publishes tech news and reviews on topics such as streaming, gaming, and AI, as well as consumer guides and deals. MobileSyrup.com has 2 million monthly average users.

The acquisition comes after ZoomerMedia's ( ZUMRF ) recent purchase of Alberta-based digipub Curiocity and Owen Sound's CJOS 92.3FM.

Mobile Syrup is ZoomerMedia's ( ZUMRF ) eighth acquisition in two years as it carries out its plan to expand the company's reach beyond its original core demographic.

ZoomerMedia ( ZUMRF ) traded at 52-week lows at $0.03 per share on Tuesday.
