ZOOZ Power Names Executive Chair Avi Cohen as Interim CEO

11:35 AM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ZOOZ Power ( ZOOZ ) said Wednesday Executive Chair Avi Cohen will become interim chief executive, effective June 1, subject to shareholder approval.

CEO Boaz Weizer is resigning, the provider of flywheel-based power-boosting solutions said, adding that it is conducting a search for its next permanent CEO.

Eyal Bloom, the company's chief revenue officer, will step in as interim chief business officer while Chief Financial Officer Ruth Smadja will serve as interim chief operating officer, ZOOZ said.
