04:52 PM EDT, 06/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Zumiez ( ZUMZ ) reported late Thursday fiscal Q1 net loss of $0.79 per diluted share, narrowing from a loss of $0.86 a year earlier.
Three analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.77.
Net sales in the three months ended May 3 were $184.3 million, up from $177.4 million a year earlier. Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $182.5 million.
For fiscal Q2, the company expects a loss of $0.09 to $0.24 per share on net sales of $207 million to $214 million. Three analysts are looking for EPS of $0.05 and net sales of $211 million.
Further, the company's board on June 4 approved a stock repurchase program of up to $15 million. The program is expected to continue through June 30, 2026.
Shares of the company were down about 8% in recent after-hours activity.
