The software company has tapped investment bank Qatalyst Partners as an adviser as it gauges interest from potential buyers, which include private-equity firms, according to Reuters.

With deliberations still ongoing, a sale is uncertain, the reports said.

Neither Zuora ( ZUO ) nor Qatalyst immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Zuora ( ZUO ) shares jumped more than 15% in recent trading.
