09:36 AM EST, 01/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Zura Bio ( ZURA ) said Wednesday it has appointed Sandeep Kulkarni as chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Kulkarni succeeds Kim Davis, who has served as the company's interim CEO since October, after Robert Lisicki went on medical leave, the company said.

Davis will continue in her roles as chief operating officer, chief legal officer, and corporate secretary, while Lisicki is resigning, effective immediately, according to Zura.

Kulkarni was most recently co-founder and CEO of Tourmaline Bio, which was acquired by Novartis ( NVS ) last year, the company said.
