All eyes on OPEC Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee meeting today
Jun 21, 2018 5:52 AM

It has been about the OPEC international conference that has been parallely on but with the 9th Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee meeting that begins today in some time as we speak.

The whole idea and the reason for having this meeting of course is ensuring that the objective of cutting output and the agreement that the OPEC and the non-OPEC has been doing is meeting its objective. This is what the meeting would really look into.

Various countries like Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman are a part of this meeting and they would be discussing on whether or not there is a need to continue to cut outputs. They will also look at the compliance part of it and the impact and the objective that these countries have begun with whether that is being met on not.
