May 14, 2018 12:45 AM

The CBI is all set to submit a charge sheet today against Allahabad Bank CEO and MD Usha Ananthasubramanian in connection with Nirav Modi scam, Times of India reported.

Others named in the charge sheet include PNB executive directors Brahmaji Rao and Sanji Saran and general manager Nehal Ahad, the report said.

According to the sources quoted in the report, the officials had not complied with circulars issued by the RBI on the SWIFT control system back in 2016.

The CBI has filed two separate FIRs in the fraud and most of the accused in both the cases are common names, the report said.

So far, 19 people have been arrested while the main players, Nirav Modi and Choksi are still absconding.
