China's foreign minister urges 'effective' communication with US, warns against 'decoupling'

BEIJING, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Chinese Foreign Minister

Wang Yi called on Thursday for effective communications between

China and United States to address differences, and said

"decoupling" is not a "realistic and rational" option.

Wang made the remarks in a meeting with Blackstone Group's

Chairman and CEO Stephen Schwarzman in Beijing, his ministry

said in a statement.
