CM Parrikar meets group of ministers to restart mining in Goa

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar met the group of ministers (GoM) on Tuesday to discuss ways to revive the mining industry in his state.

Parrikar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed Goa’s mining issues with the GoM, which comprised of Road and Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari, Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

After the meeting, Parrikar said that the government will look at legal options as to how to begin operations in the state of Goa.
