03:10 PM EST, 11/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The University of Michigan consumer sentiment index for November was revised higher to 51.0 from the preliminary estimate of 50.3, but was still below October's reading of 53.6.

Michigan said that inflation expectations declined sharply in the month but remain a concern for consumers now that the government shutdown has ended.

The flash manufacturing reading from S&P Global fell to 51.9 in November from 52.5 in October after regional data from the New York and Philadelphia Federal Reserve banks were mixed.

The ISM's national manufacturing reading will be released on Dec. 1.

Released at the same time, the flash services reading from S&P Global rose to 55.0 in November from 54.8 in October, suggesting faster expansion. The ISM's services reading is scheduled for release on Dec. 3.

The Kansas City Fed's services index fell to minus 7 in November from minus 5 in October. Other regional services data already released have been mixed.

August wholesale inventories were revised higher to a flat reading from a 0.2% drop in the advance reading. At the same time, wholesale sales increased by 0.1%, though auto sales fell by 0.1%.

The Q3 GDPnow estimate from the Atlanta Fed is for a 4.2% gain, unchanged from the previous estimate on Wednesday. The next estimate is scheduled to be released on Nov. 25.

The Q3 GDPnow estimate from the St. Louis Fed is for a 0.5% gain, down from a 0.6% increase in the previous week.
