Dallas Fed Manufacturing Index Indicates Faster Contraction in November

10:41 AM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The Dallas Fed's monthly manufacturing index fell to a reading of minus 10.4 in November from minus 5.0 in October, compared with expectations for an increase to a reading of minus 2.0 in a survey compiled by Bloomberg as of 7:35 am ET, indicating faster contraction.

Other manufacturing readings already released have been mixed.

For Dallas, there was a decline in the employment reading, but gains in the readings for new orders, production, shipments and prices paid.

The reading for the company outlook declined to minus 6.3 from minus 0.3 in October.
