“Demand scenario post-September including September has been fantastic. June, July, and August there was slowdown in infra projects because of monsoons and migrant labours and all that,” Agarwal said.
“At the start of the lockdown in March, we were stuck up with lot of inventory, but we were able to manage it pretty well over the month of April, May and June and by July-August our working capital was manageable.
On the construction equipment verticals Agarwal said, “The construction equipment segment for us was about Rs 80-90 crore last year and we are looking at about Rs 120 crore in this current year.”
On margins, he said, “I am as sure as I can be that we should be able to start to have double-digit margins from this quarter itself. Hopefully going into next year it should be a little more than being in double digits.”
