Fed's Williams says interest rate should be cut 'over time', FT reports

(Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Reserve should cut interest rates over time, Federal Reserve Bank of New York President John Williams told the Financial Times in an interview published on Tuesday.

"I personally expect that it will be appropriate again to bring interest rates down over time," Williams told the FT.
