Fin Min may extend GSTR-9 & 9C deadline for FY19-20

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Implementation Committee has cleared the proposal to extend the deadline for GSTR-9 and 9C i.e. the annual return and reconciliation of the annual return for FY19-20 from December 31 to March 31.

However, a formal announcement on this is yet to be made.

According to sources, a formal announcement could be made around December 30.
