Government gives in-principle nod for creation of a non-lapsable defence fund

The central government has submitted its action taken report on the recommendations made by the 15th Finance Commission.

The government has given in-principle acceptance to the suggestion to create a non-lapsable defence fund. On fiscal road map, Centre says it plans to examine most recommendations, reports Sapna Das.
