Government prepares list of projects won by Anil Ambani group during UPA regime, says report
Oct 12, 2018 12:37 AM

The government has started to list out the projects awarded to Anil Ambani’s companies by the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regime, The Economic Times reported.

The list is being prepared after the Congress alleged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to be favouring Anil Ambani's group by securing offsets from the Rafale deal, the report said.

People familiar with the matter told the paper that preliminary enquiries have revealed that Rs 100,000 crore-worth projects were awarded to Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group by the previous Congress-led UPA government.

The information and the data of the projects under the UPA government is being collected from key ministries such as power, telecom, road transport and highways, the report said.
