Gurugram was the world's most polluted city in 2018 with an average air quality index of 135.8.
The top-5 most polluted cities are Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faisalabad (Pakistan), Faridabad and Bhiwadi.
IQAir Airvisual and GreenPeace report says outdoor pollution is the world's 4th leading contributor to early deaths. The report also estimates a global cost of $225 billion in lost labour and trillions in medical costs.
